Privacy Policy
MotivPack ("we," "us") fills backpacks with school tools and motivation for kids facing hard times. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit motivpack.com or donate, and how we use it. The short version: we only collect what we need to process your gift and keep you updated, and we never sell your information.
What we collect
When you donate
Donations are processed by our payment partner, Whop. At checkout you provide your name, email address, billing details and payment information, plus the optional note you write for the pack. We never see or store your full card number. Whop shares with us your name, email, gift amount, frequency and your note, so we can thank you and pack your note.
When you email or call us
We keep your message and contact details so we can reply.
When you visit the website
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies or track you across other websites. It records basic, non-identifying information such as which pages were viewed, the referring website, country and device type. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, also processes standard technical data (like IP addresses) to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
How we use it
- To process your donation and send your receipt
- To pack your note with a backpack
- To send updates about packs your gift helped deliver. You can opt out anytime.
- To answer your questions
- To understand how people use the website so we can improve it
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with the services that help us run MotivPack, and only as needed:
- Whop: payment processing and receipts
- Cloudflare: website hosting, security and analytics
- Our email provider: to send receipts and updates
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
About your note
We read every note before it goes into a pack. We may lightly edit a note, or leave it out, if it includes contact details, personal information, or anything not appropriate for a child. Notes are given to kids without your last name or contact information.
Kids' privacy
This website is meant for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the site. We never publish identifying information or photos of the kids who receive packs without a parent or guardian's permission.
Your choices
- Stop updates: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email us.
- See or delete your information: email info@motivpack.com and we'll respond within 30 days. We may need to keep payment records that the law requires us to keep.
Security
Payments are handled by Whop over encrypted connections, and our website is served only over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
